Children’s Oral Health on Pico Island, Azores (Portugal)

Pediatric dentistry focuses on children’s oral health. The aim of this study was to describe the prevalence malocclusion in a pediatric population. Eighty-two children (3–12 years old), both genders, who belong Social Solidarity Institution for Children Pico Island were clinically examined. Half female and half male, which most 7 old (20.7%) with mixed dentition (58.5%). highest canine class I vertical molar. Most did not have characteristics (56.1%).
